Housekeeper's Cottage has recently been refurbished to a high standard. The cottage is centrally heated and luxuriously appointed.
The spacious accommodation consists of one bedroom with a double bed and large fitted wardrobes. This is adjacent to the upstairs sitting-room with panoramic views across the Derwent Valley. Comfortable settees, pine furniture and a warming gas fire make this the ideal all-weather choice.
Along the corridor from the sitting room and bedroom is the bathroom with luxury shower and bath.
Downstairs is the dining-room with front door access and adjoining it is the fully fitted kitchen, which with windows to both sides is a bright and airy room.
The front of the cottage overlooks the original courtyard with the old coach-house and stables on one side.
Parking is available in the courtyard.
Originally built in 1904 as single storey accommodation for the housekeeper of The Winnatts. In later years a first floor was added making the cottage very spacious for two people.
